We moved to the Jersey Shore from the Pocono Mountains five years. Our new home needed a lot of work done on the inside and once completed we were in need of a good painter. Our friends here complained about painters they had used so we were basically on our own to find one. I saw an advertisement for Mark Caruso and gave him a call. He promptly called back the next day and we set up a time for him to come here to discuss what we needed done. We hired him that day and he began the following week. We thought we needed all new cabinets, but Mark assured us he could make them look like brand new cabinets by sanding and painting. The transformation was amazing! He was professional, neat, speedy and our kitchen looked fabulous when completed. He then proceeded to paint each room in our home, all different Caribbean colors with white trim. Absolutely stunning! His prices were fair and we have recommended him to many friends who also were very pleased. Without question Mark Caruso is the one to call!

I contacted Painting by Mark Caruso through another contractor service engine. Within 24 hours, Mark gave me a call and we setup a date for him to come by to give us an estimate. Mark showed up early, inspected the work to be done and gave me a detailed quote that same visit. After fielding other quotes and reviewing their work, we decided to hire Mark. Mark asked us to email him our color choice and that he will put us on his schedule to get the job done. We had originally requested to have the house painted by no later than mid-June but the work was completed on June 21st to no fault of Mark’s. With the all the rain we have seen here in New Jersey, it became difficult to pinpoint a date and we were very understanding of that. Nevertheless, Mark still completed the work within a week of our original request date and we were very happy with the end result. Mark’s first visit was to chemically wash our house. He visited again to paint the exterior trims. On the third and last visit, Mark painted the body of the house using a sprayer. Mark and his crew covered all windows and doors as well as plants. They removed downspouts and covered parts of my driveway. He was very neat and organized and cleaned up very nicely. Our house siding is made of cedar planks going horizontally and diagonal and we are very happy with our new stain. We are now looking to paint the interior of our house and we have already reached out to Mark!

Mark was very easy to work with. He bought the paint that I had specifically picked out, started on the agreed upon date and finished the job in a timely manner. My entire house has hardwood floors and he took great care in insuring that nothing happened to them. They took everything down, moved the furniture, etc. Once they were finished, they put everything back. Mark worked with me with regards to my counter top installation was well. Very trustworthy, honest, ‘down homey’ type of business to work with. I will definitely hire Mark and his team in the future!

We were very happy with the work that Mark Caruso did for us. They were able to do some repair work as part of the restoration, power wash the house, put 2 coats of paint on the house and still finish the job before the promised date. They did an excellent job on the clean up. I would give them a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. We would call them again for any other painting job.
